The armoured chain conveyor conveys in the upper run, so that the trough of the conveyor forms the floor of the bunker. Various product widths allow most favourable matching to given bunker geometries in each case. Thanks to the low product height, retrofitting into an existing system is possible. Continuity in material feed as well as metered bunker discharge, which are important for downstream conveying installations are realised by using adjustable drive units. A pressure-tight version of the PKF is available for the feeding of vertical mills. The closed system of the armoured chain conveyor ensures clean operating conditions. For predosing, a layer-height limiter is possible, and on customer request, various lining materials are available.
