Armoured Chain Conveyor (PKF)
Two to five-strand versions
The type PKF armoured chain conveyor is used in the cement, lime and gypsum industry for bunker discharge of limestone lightweight aggregate or for sticky raw materials such as chalk, gypsum, marl, clay or rough coal. Particularly wear-resistant versions are suitable for bunker discharge of cement clinker or clinker cake. Armoured chain conveyors from AUMUND are equipped with round steel chains and specially shaped scrapers which permit a good take-up of sticky conveyed materials. Clean operational conditions result from the closed material bunker and conveyor unit.
AUMUND armoured chain conveyors are available with discharge capacities of 10 to over 1,200 t/h. The product widths range from between 600 and 2,600 mm. The chain strands are configured for traction forces up to 690 kN, so chain distances of 400, 500 or 600 mm are feasible. Depending on bunker width, AUMUND produces two to five-strand versions of the armoured chain conveyor.
