| Apron Feeder with Arched Plates Type BPB Light but robust - economical and reliable The main area of application of this version of the arched plate conveyor is the hopper discharge of moist and sticky materials e.g. clay, marl, natural or FGD-gypsum, anhydrite, pozzolana etc. The arched-shaped, curved plates form a surface which is perfectly matched to the drive and pretensioned sprocket wheels, and as such, plate cleaning with a scraper is made possible. To control the discharge capacity, the conveyor is equipped with an speed-controlled drive. When equipped with a weighing rail and a frequency-controlled drive, the conveyor can be employed as a weigh feeder.
